Eleiko Sport in Halmstad has come to an agreement in Denmark – an agreement that can be worth 20 million Swedish crowns!
    The customer in Denmark is the Danish National Defence who is going to equip 60 training facilities with more than 300 gym machines adn tons of Eleiko free weights.

The Danish National Defence chose Eleiko Sport in competition with many other big actors on the gym market. This means that Eleiko will be the total supplier of all the gym equipment during the next four years.

– The agreement with the Danish Defence can become the largest order in Eleiko’s history, says Anders Ericsson – sales manager at Eleiko Sport. Mr Ericsson has, together with the Danish distributor Scanfit/Jesper Kobberød, been responsible for the project.

– We are very proud to win this order, especially since the competition was very tough. This will strengthen our position on the market for gym equipment – in Scandinavia as well as international, says Anders Ericsson.

A healthy company
At Eleiko Sport the future looks bright and the turnover has been doubled the last four years.

– It is very stimulating for everyone at the company when something  positive happens, in spite of the recession, says Eleiko Sport’s managing director and owner Lennart Blomberg. It is a great honour for us to deliver gym equipment to a prestigious customer as the Danish National Defence.

The order will be executed during 2009/2010 and will give extra work at Eleiko Sport as well as to the companies sub contractors. For example, Rehab in Anderstorp will almost double their turnover.
